The Real Reason People Run

Austin Marathon Expo Stories

At the Austin Marathon Expo, we asked runners one simple question: why do you run, and we got deep, hearing about discipline, healing, purpose, community, and survival. As an official nonprofit partner, I Am Redemption showed up with 12 first-time runners and over 75 volunteers, showing this is about more than running, it is about community and building something bigger than ourselves.
