15 Jan Found true love
I had reached a place in my life where I had no friends around me, and a relationship I was in had broken down. I spent a weekend crying, wanting solid and trustworthy friendships and a life worth living. A colleague at work suggested what I needed was to sleep around, enjoy life, get out there. This wasn’t what I was looking for at all.
A week later at work, I was sat next to a guy I’d only briefly met before, called Sam. We chatted a bit and he invited me to a community event in Buckland, a fun day with lots of games and stalls and things. It sounded fun so I went along, and the next day went to the church that ran the event. Coming into church it felt like I was coming home. I gave my life to Jesus that day, and found myself with a purpose and a real sense of being loved.
